Job summary

Cara Veterinary is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead our DVM recruiting strategy from the Cara Support Center in Seattle. You will own full-cycle DVM recruiting, build a strong pipeline of veterinary talent, and partner with leadership to ensure capacity across our hospitals.

Based in Seattle, this full-time, salaried role involves engaging with veterinary schools, conferences, and career events, while traveling locally as needed to meet hiring goals and keep our growth on

Qualifications

• Significant full-cycle recruiting experience across professional or veterinary talent pools.
• Proven success sourcing hard-to-find candidates in a competitive market.
• Strong passive candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term talent pipelines.
• Excellent closing, negotiation, and candidate management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle DVM recruiting from proactive sourcing through accepted offer.
• Build and nurture relationships with active and passive DVM candidates.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects for future needs.
• Partner with Medical Leadership, Operations, Hospital Leaders, and People Team to anticipate capacity needs.
• Develop relationships with veterinary schools, students, externs, and other future talent sources.
• Represent Cara at conferences, career fairs, universities, networking events, and within the veterinary community.
• Bring market intelligence on compensation trends, candidate expectations, and recruiting challenges.
• Use data to understand pipeline health, candidate conversion, time to fill, and capacity added.
