Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a seasoned SPW program leader to manage and develop a self-perform team, coordinating with SPW project teams, subcontractors, and partners to meet project requirements, schedule, and quality standards.

You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost controls while identifying risks and driving performance improvements. A bachelor’s in CM/engineering and 7+ years in construction are required. DPR emphasizes growth and collaboration across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field; 1-2 years in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction SPW project individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
• Oversees end-to-end execution of self-perform work scopes by collaborating with SPW project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees and approves procurement of SPW-specific materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with SPW work sequences and field requirements.
• Communicates SPW project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging advanced knowledge in SPW means and methods.
• Evaluates SPW project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews comprehensive SPW project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference, while actively managing project costs and forecasting to support financial control and informed decision making.
