Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare detailed Self-Perform Work (SPW) cost estimates supporting project planning, bidding and operations. You will analyze drawings, specs, and production data across multiple trades, collaborating with project teams to reflect realistic rates and contingencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• 4–6 years of estimating/preconstruction/cost analysis experience.
• Experience with self-perform (SPW) or construction cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares comprehensive SPW cost estimates for multiple scopes.
• Analyzes drawings, models, and specifications to validate quantities and risks.
• Collaborates with field leaders, engineers, and project teams to align estimates with execution plans.
• Coordinates with procurement to evaluate vendor and supplier pricing for SPW materials and equipment.
• Develops variance analyses and supporting cost studies for value engineering.
• Ensures estimates align with phasing, access, and sequencing plans and maintains data history.
