Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies in Hawaii seeks a Senior Drop Installer III to install, maintain, and troubleshoot aerial and underground drop connections from the network to customer premises. The role requires advanced technical expertise and the ability to mentor junior installers while upholding safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work from blueprints and specs, perform splicing and testing, document work, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18–24 months of related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain aerial and underground drop cables for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform splicing, grounding, bonding, and signal testing on coaxial and fiber optic lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues with minimal supervision.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical specifications, and work orders.
• Ensure installations comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Utilize specialized tools including signal level meters, OTDRs, and cable locators.
• Document work completed via digital or paper job tickets.
• Mentor Drop Installer I and II team members.
• Communicate professionally with customers to explain installation processes.
• Respond to escalated service issues and assist with high-priority projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
