Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies in Hawaii is seeking a Drop Installer II responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining buried and aerial fiber and copper drop cables connecting the main network to customer locations. This role blends technical skill, physical ability, and customer service.

You will use hand tools and test equipment, interact with customers, identify optimal drop paths, and follow safety procedures while documenting work and restoring sites after projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 to 18 months of field experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Installing new and repairing existing aerial and buried fiber or copper drops according to standards.
• Interacting with customers and explaining installation processes.
• Using hand tools and test equipment for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Testing signal strength and diagnosing issues with drop facilities.
• Maintaining safety, procedures and documentation.
