Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies is seeking a senior Drop Installer III to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aerial and underground drop connections from the network to customer premises. This role also mentors junior installers and emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction.

The incumbent will work in a field environment, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while supporting high-priority projects and ensuring quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18–24 months of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain aerial and underground drop cables for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform splicing, grounding, bonding, and signal testing on coaxial and fiber optic lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues with minimal supervision.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical specifications, and work orders.
• Ensure installations comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Document work completed via digital or paper job tickets.
