Job summary

RSC2, Inc. invites a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Hanover, MD team. The role focuses on JCWA systems engineering, governance, and enterprise architecture alignment within a DoD environment.

You will collaborate with senior architects and engineering teams to mature design artifacts, implement governance docs, and ensure decisions are documented. The position requires DoD experience, exceptional communication, and TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college/university
• Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in systems engineering and defense environments
• Proven experience applying systems engineering to complex, enterprise-scale programs
• Experience supporting large organizations (200–2,000 personnel) with governance structures
• Strong DoD policy awareness and enterprise architecture understanding
• Expert-level proficiency with Atlassian Confluence and Jira for dashboards, workflows, and requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and teams to mature JCWA systems engineering docs and reference designs
• Develop and implement governance artifacts (SOPs, MFRs, ADRs)
• Establish ADR and TN processes to ensure architecturally significant decisions are documented
• Assist in evaluating enterprise capabilities including JCWA-ICAM initiatives
• Maintain awareness of DoD and DoW policies impacting engineering activities
• Analyze policies and program performance and provide actionable recommendations
• Support JCWA programs and modernization efforts
