Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide strategic systems engineering, governance, and enterprise integration support for the JCWA program in Columbia, Maryland. This DoD-focused role requires leadership, architecture development, agile execution, and cross-functional coordination.

You will collaborate with senior architects and engineering teams to mature JCWA documentation, manage ADR/TN processes, and drive governance artifacts while ensuring compliance with DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified.
• 15 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience supporting DoD and defense contracting environments.
• Proven experience applying systems engineering to complex architectures.
• SAFe, ARTs, and PI Planning understanding.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chief Architect and engineering teams to mature JCWA systems engineering documentation and the JNeRD.
• Develop governance artifacts such as charters, MFRs, SOPs, and System Engineering Plans.
• Establish ADR and TN processes to document and review decisions.
• Assist in evaluating enterprise capabilities including JCWA-ICAM initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of DoD and DoW policies affecting systems engineering.
• Analyze policies and program performance and provide recommendations.
• Facilitate PI Planning events for multiple ARTs and 900+ personnel.
• Engineer automated workflows and dashboards in Confluence/Jira to improve transparency.
