Job summary

Assured Information Security, Inc. (AIS) seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide strategic systems engineering, governance, and enterprise integration support to JCWA within a DoD context. The role is onsite at Ft.

Meade, MD and requires TS/SCI w/CI Poly. You will lead governance artifacts, enable Agile execution, and coordinate across JCWA programs, reporting to leadership. You will develop dashboards, cascade executive-level communications, and ensure risk-informed decision-making while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 15+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience supporting DoD and defense contracting environments.
• Proven experience applying systems engineering to complex, enterprise-scale programs.
• Strong documentation and executive-level communication abilities.
• Expert-level proficiency with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, including dashboards and workflow automation.
• Deep understanding of SAFe, ARTs, and PI Planning.
• Experience developing governance artifacts (SOPs, ADRs, MFRs).
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, governance, and maturation of JCWA systems engineering artifacts and reference design.
• Develop and implement enterprise governance products (Charters, SOPs, MFRs, ADRs).
• Evaluate and support enterprise capabilities like JCWA-ICAM; align with DoD policies.
• Plan and coordinate large PI Planning events for 900+ personnel and manage engagement materials.
• Engineer dashboards and reporting with Confluence and Jira for transparency and requirements management.
• Drive continuous improvement across JCWA engineering, Agile, and governance functions.
