Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks an executive to oversee customer renewals across the DoD Fourth Estate, the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps, focusing on sustaining relationships and maximizing contract value.

You will manage renewals, forecast timelines, coordinate with account teams and technical staff, and lead quarterly business reviews to drive retention and upsell opportunities while navigating DoD contracting cycles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise technology sales or account management experience, including 5+ years with DoD clients (Navy/Marine familiarity).
• Track record of high renewal rates and growing existing accounts.
• Experience working with prime contractors, resellers, and contract vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewals for DoD accounts and achieve retention and net revenue retention targets.
• Forecast renewal timelines and align with budgets across agencies.
• Upsell, cross-sell, and introduce new services to expand accounts.
