Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise technology sales.
• 5+ years specializing in Department of Defense Fourth Estate agencies.
• Track record of growing large existing accounts and closing new logo business.
• Experience leading or coordinating a cross-functional account team.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes (OTAs, IDIQs, GWACs).
• Active U.S. Secret clearance (TS/SCI) or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Manage the DoD Fourth Estate territory, agencies, and targets (new logos, expansion, renewals).
• Grow installed base by renewals and enterprise-wide adoption.
• Identify and secure new opportunities with Fourth Estate organizations not currently partnered with Akamai.
• Drive integrated account team strategy, reviews, and resource allocation.
• Nurture relationships with agency executives, program offices, mission owners, primes, and integrators.
• Navigate DoD procurement options and collaborate with Federal Solutions teams.
• Maintain accurate account plans, pipeline, and forecasts in Salesforce.
