Akamai is expanding its Public Sector team to lead DoD Fourth Estate accounts in the United States. The Major Account Executive will drive hybrid sales efforts, coordinate an integrated account team, and deliver tailored solutions that win new logos and renewals across defense agencies and field activities.

With 8+ years in enterprise technology sales and a proven record of growing large accounts, you will navigate DoD procurement channels and collaborate with Federal Solutions to meet ambitious

Competenze

• 8+ years in enterprise technology sales, with DoD Fourth Estate focus.
• Proven track record of growing large accounts and closing new logo opportunities.
• Experience leading or coordinating a cross-functional account team of engineers, account managers, and business development partners.

Mansioni

• Manage the DoD Fourth Estate territory, achieve new logo, expansion, and renewal targets.
• Grow installed base by protecting renewals and expanding programs for enterprise adoption.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with DoD Fourth Estate organizations not currently partnered with Akamai.
• Drive the integrated account team by setting strategy and guiding resources to top opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with agency executives, program offices, mission owners, prime contractors, and systems integrators.
