Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to design, optimize, secure, and sustain large scale DoD networks at ONI in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. You will handle LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, ISE TACACS+ controls, and cryptographic devices across a multinational environment.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, CCNP and CCNA or equivalent, plus experience with Palo Alto/Azure Firewalls and SolarWinds in mission-critical operations. Travel to multiple international sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of engineering experience or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance in DISS.
• IAT or IAM Level II/III DoD baseline cert (Security+, CCNA, CISSP, etc.).
• CCNP certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Experience with DoD comms systems and large enterprise networks.
• Strong OSI knowledge: Layers 1–4; higher layers knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN/WAN, firewall, and NMS activities per Government guidance.
• Manage Cisco routing and switching for networks with 700+ routers/switches.
• Configure cryptographic devices and OSPF routing.
• Review IAVAs/IAVBs and implement remediation.
• Support circuits from T1 to OC-192; develop SOPs and improvements.
• Provide onsite engineering support for mission environments.
