Job summary

Aviation Systems Engineering Company in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and sustain the network infrastructure supporting Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training systems. The role is based on-site at our Lexington Park office, with periodic travel to Virginia Beach for the Global LVC Operations Center.

Qualifications

• 9 years of progressively responsible network experience in enterprise and tactical environments
• Experience configuring enterprise network devices in classified and unclassified environments
• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting secure network architectures
• Experience with RMF requirements and cybersecurity best practices in DoD contexts

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical network architectures
• Support classified and unclassified training networks
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems
• Maintain network availability across geographically dispersed locations
• Lead technically during fleet and coalition training events
• Monitor network health during exercises
• Up to 25% annual travel may be required
