Job summary

ASEC, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and sustain the network infrastructure supporting Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training systems at NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, VA.

The role requires DoD RMF expertise, DoD Top Secret clearance, and leadership during major training events. You will manage enterprise and tactical networks across classified and unclassified environments, implement boundary defenses, and ensure availability for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Networking and 9 years of related experience.
• Experience configuring enterprise and tactical networks in classified/unclassified environments.
• Experience designing secure network architectures for dispersed operations.
• Experience implementing boundary defense and RMF requirements.
• Experience leading DoD/Navy/NAVAIR networks during exercises and missions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical network architectures.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems.
• Maintain network availability across geographically dispersed training locations.
• Support connectivity between live platforms, simulators, command centers, and remote participants.
• Lead technical teams during major fleet and coalition training events.
• Support cybersecurity audits, vulnerability remediation, and RMF compliance.
• Monitor network health and resolve connectivity issues during exercises.
• Travel up to 25% annually.
