Job summary

ASEC seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise and tactical network infrastructure supporting Navy LVC training systems. The role focuses on real-time data exchange, distributed simulation, and large-scale exercises in DoD environments.

Based on-site in Lexington Park, MD with periodic travel to Virginia Beach; Top Secret clearance required for access to classified networks and events, including coordination with coalition partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity/IT field or related
• Experience implementing segmentation, boundary defense, and secure remote access
• Experience supporting RMF compliance and security audits in DoD environments

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical networks.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems.
• Support classified and unclassified training networks.
• Lead during major fleet and coalition training events.
• Monitor network health and resolve connectivity issues during exercises.
