Job summary

ASEC seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise and tactical networks supporting Navy LVC training. You will manage both classified and unclassified networks, configure routers and security appliances, and ensure availability across multiple sites including on-site Lexington Park, MD and occasional travel.

The role requires DoD security experience, RMF compliance, and strong communication skills to lead during exercises and coordinate with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems or IT, or Software Engineering.
• Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise/DoD networks.
• Knowledge of RMF, DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation, and security audits.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical network architectures.
• Support classified and unclassified networks and boundary defense solutions.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems.
• Maintain network availability across geographically dispersed training locations.
• Lead during major fleet and coalition training events and resolve connectivity issues.
