Job summary

FALCATA is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Huntsville, AL (Discovery) to analyze and optimize production processes for high-performance electronics and complex systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, design for manufacturability, and continuous improvement on a fast-paced assembly facility. You will implement assembly procedures, train staff on new equipment, and ensure compliance with IPC, AS9100, and DoD standards while collaborating across engineering, operations and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited school is required (plus years of experience).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.
• Experience with DoD manufacturing, IPC/J-STD/MIL/DOD standards, and AS9100 is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly procedures.
• Train employees on new equipment.
• Lead and audit safety, quality, cost, schedule, technical and programmatic requirements.
