Job summary

FALCATA in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Assembler I to support its production division. You will perform basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly on prototype and production hardware to strict workmanship standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities include wiring engineering models, developing assembly methods, reading wiring lists and schematics, and using hand or power tools to fit components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production/assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production hardware according to workmanship standards and military/client specifications.
• Assists in wiring engineering models and developing assembly methods and wire lists.
• Uses hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and adjust components to fit and align them.
• Reads/interprets wiring lists and assembly drawings; works to work orders using schematics.
• May rework from test failures and set up automatic prep, loading, and insertion equipment.
• Stand/walk and use hands frequently; reach with hands/arms as required.
