Job summary

Falcata in Huntsville, AL is actively recruiting a dynamic Quality Engineer to support our Production Operation. The selected individual will ensure compliance with contractual and internal requirements to ensure our production operation meets the high-quality product performance levels that our customers demand.

As an integral member of the Quality team, other quality duties may be assigned. This role requires DoD security considerations and a strong background in electronics hardware

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience with audits, documentation, and process improvement.
• Familiar with IPC, J-STD, MIL and DoD standards.
• Experience with configuration control and material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Create quality plans for production ready products and products entering first production.
• Prepare, evaluate, and assess documentation for processes in manufacturing, inspection, and test.
• Collaborate with production to solve issues, collect data, and present improvement metrics.
• Create First Article Inspection documentation.
• Support PCA and FCA activities.
• Witness DVT and Qualification Testing.
• Review requirement validation objective evidence.
• Support FRACA for failures found during testing.
• Participate in Material Review Board as needed.
• Develop and implement internal procedures and work instructions.
• Create CARs and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Conduct Internal Audits and manage the Audit Schedule.
• Review final hardware documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform final release of finished hardware to ship.
