Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead a high‑complexity program in the Airborne & Sustainment portfolio. This onsite role requires managing development and production, with strong customer interface and leadership across contracts, finance, supply chain, and engineering.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in program management, DoD/DoE experience, and proven EVMS expertise. Travel up to 10% and Top Secret clearance are required to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced degree with DoD/aircraft program experience.
• 12+ years in program management or related PMO leadership.
• Experience in DoD/defense, aerospace, or related industry.
• Strong EVMS, IMS/IMP, risk management and financial forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of a high‑complexity program including development and production.
• Ensure cost, schedule, performance commitments are met with best practices.
• Drive program schedules, budgets, milestones, and KPIs with cross‑functional teams.
• Apply Earned Value Management to assess health and propose corrective actions.
• Direct cross‑functional teams and maintain customer interface with a One Team mindset.
• Lead annual operating plans, long‑term outlooks, PMRs and forecasts.
• Coordinate communication across multiple internal and dispersed stakeholders.
• Guide engineering change proposals and new business capture activities.
