Job summary

RRD provides marketing, packaging, print, and business services to global brands. The Senior Document Production Associate will deliver word processing and document production services, with a 1st shift schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Eastern, on-site in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes accurate document handling, adherence to policies, and effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in a legal, banking, or large corporate environment.
• Document production/word processing experience preferred.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong keyboarding and typing skills.
• Knowledge of legal timekeeping or job tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform document production work according to established policies and procedures.
• Thoroughly assess job requests and identify correct process to produce documents.
• Edit, proofread, convert, create, transcribe, or complete document production requests to client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced use of equipment/software and hardware to perform job functions.
• Assist with coordination of document production services, preparation, intake, and workflow within team.
• Troubleshoot more complex software or hardware problems.
• Use logs/tracking software for all assigned work.
• Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work.
• Communicate with peers, supervisor, or client on job or deadline issues.
• Help foster continuous service enhancement and client relationships.
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information.
• Perform Quality Assurance on work of others.
• Train more junior staff members.
• Assist peers with proofreading, design or other document production tasks.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.
• Interact with clients in person, over the phone or electronically.
• Adhere to company policies and client site policies.
• Use equipment in a cost-efficient manner.
