Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Document Controller for an offshore energy project in Houston. The role oversees daily processing of engineering and supplier documentation, ensuring compliance with work instructions and contractual obligations.

You will manage document approval workflows, control storage, and handling of inbound client/supplier docs. The ideal candidate has extensive EPC document control experience, proficiency with DMS tools, Excel data skills, and familiarity with PDF

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Document Controller in EPC environments.
• Experience with industry-standard document management platforms.
• Strong Excel data manipulation and raw data extraction skills.
• Proficiency with PDF automation tools like Bluebeam and Acrobat Pro.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools (MS Teams, WebEx, GoTo).

Responsibilities

• Create document placeholders per standard numbering procedures.
• Maintain Master Document Register and Document Distribution Matrix.
• Transmit documentation via project systems and verify compliance.
• Update and reconcile metadata across platforms.
• Mentor junior staff and support system testing/training initiatives.
