Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Senior Distributor Sales Manager to grow sales and market share by leading wholesalers and developing the sales team. You will work with wholesalers and the national account team to execute plans for on- and off-premise accounts.

The role offers base pay between $98,279 and $153,315, plus potential bonuses and strong benefits including 401(k) match, health/dental/vision insurance, an onsite clinic, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5 years wholesaler or supplier management experience.
• 3 years successful background managing people preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal liquor laws.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets: volume, distribution, profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned wholesalers with the sales teams to grow sales and market share.
• Lead, motivate and develop employees including hiring, performance management and training.
• Provide exceptional service to become the preferred supplier for partners.
• Maintain proactive communications with supervisors, sales team and wholesalers.
• Develop and execute monthly and annual planning for assigned wholesalers and lead execution of Annual Business Plans.
• Provide weekly written recaps to wholesalers and SNBC team of results and opportunities.
• Manage budgets, including co-op dollars, writing incentives and bill-backs approval.
• Assist in due diligence for wholesaler transitions.
• Schedule and conduct Coaching Days and communicate recaps with KARMA, focusing on objectives.
• Grow team development and selling skills to drive key sales objectives.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines and company policies.
• Work with leadership to distribute pricing and communications across tiers.
• Utilize sales tools (KARMA, VIP, Nielsen, Power BI) effectively.
