Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in California is seeking a Market Development Representative to grow sales and market share in the assigned area.

The role emphasizes retail execution of Sierra Nevada brands across key on- and off-premise accounts, focusing about 90% of time in-store activations and promotions. You will build distribution, secure displays, coordinate promotions, and deliver exemplary service to accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years B2B sales experience preferred.
• Experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws desirable.
• Proven ability to meet business goals in volume, distribution and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing accounts within the area to obtain new distribution and promote activity.
• Identify and solicit new retail opportunities to increase volume and market share.
• Ensure proper merchandising and POS materials according to brand standards.
• Conduct staff trainings, beer tastings and events as needed.
• Coordinate displays, placement, and promotions for on- and off-premise accounts.
• Provide excellent service to assigned accounts and support wholesalers.
• Report area performance and market information to management.
