Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Market Development Representative to grow sales and market share in the assigned area. The role focuses on retail execution of Sierra Nevada brands in key on- and off-premise accounts, with about 90% of time spent in retail execution.

The position offers a base compensation range of $59,438 to $89,158, with eligibility for a bonus program. Benefits include 401(k) matching, health plans, and ongoing training. Residence within the market is required.

Qualifications

• Strong sales experience in B2B environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical abilities.
• Organizational skills and time management focus.
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing accounts to grow distribution within area.
• Identify new retail opportunities and increase volume and share.
• Merchandise products and POS materials per brand standards.
• Host staff trainings, beer tastings, and events as needed.
• Secure displays, manage beer placement, close gaps and support POS.
• Provide outstanding service to accounts as preferred supplier.
• Work with brewery budget guidelines and submit area reports.
• Coordinate events and promotions to raise brand awareness and sales.
• Execute National Account opportunities monthly.
