Job summary

KDM Engineering is expanding its presence in Pennsylvania with a new office and utility distribution project. We seek an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of utility distribution experience, including familiarity with PPL Electric Utilities standards, to lead and coordinate complex designs and provide technical guidance.

You will oversee QA/QC reviews, mentor team members, and collaborate with clients to ensure deliverables meet client standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical Engineering Technology) preferred.
• P.E. preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with Distribution Design; knowledge of PPL Electric Utilities standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects and project teams in mid-to-large scale electric distribution initiatives.
• Performs QA design reviews and peer reviews for project documents.
• Mentors project team members and assists in scoping documents and fees.
• Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED; resolves design questions and technical concerns.
