Job summary

EY’s Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice is seeking a senior leader to guide government and public sector engagements focused on disaster recovery funding, compliance, and grants management. The role emphasizes client relationships, engagement quality, and cross-functional leadership in complex programs.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in compliance or related fields, CPA/CFE/CEM designation, and a proven track record in business development, negotiations, and large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 9+ years’ related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.
• Excellent project and time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple engagements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
• Quantifiable history of business development success.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours.
• Access to reliable transportation; a driver’s license is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to provide government and public sector clients with disaster recovery funding management and compliance services.
• Develop client relationships and oversee engagement processes across large projects for states and local governments.
• Travel and presence at client sites and in-office locations will be required.
• Lead business and practice development initiatives.
