Job summary

Prudential Financial is seeking an experienced Disability Claims Specialist to join the Long-Term Disability Core Team. You will act as a technical expert, guiding claim professionals on complex matters, interpreting policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations, and ensuring high-quality claim outcomes.

You will coach teammates, analyze trends, and support training initiatives while maintaining ownership and execution with the assigned claim professional.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of LTD policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations, benefit calculations, and Social Security benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Long Term Disability technical expert for the team.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, medical and vocational considerations, claim strategy and eligibility.
• Coach claim professionals through complex scenarios and provide actionable feedback.
• Analyze claim activity to identify trends and coaching opportunities.
• Monitor claim block health and support timely follow-through on corrective actions.
