Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead strategic initiatives for the C4 ground vehicle platforms and edge compute solutions.

You will build data-driven strategies, engage with DoD and global partners, and drive field-ready, integrated vehicle systems with OEMs. The role requires DoD program experience, active security clearance, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in defense business development, program management, or acquisitions.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, government contracting, and capability transition strategies.
• Experience with tactical vehicle platforms, mobile C2 systems, and edge compute/communications technologies.
• Familiarity with DDIL (Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, Low-bandwidth) environments and mobile command and control concepts.
• Demonstrated success in capturing and growing defense programs, particularly in vehicle-based systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand the adoption of Anduril’s vehicle-based ECC solutions across DoD and allied forces.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities where mobile ECC capabilities address operational gaps in tactical edge environments based on analysis and customer engagement.
• Lead capture efforts for vehicle-based ECC programs with PAEs, service labs, and operational units.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across services to understand mission needs and position solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to shape technical roadmaps aligned with customer requirements and emerging threats.
• Support proposal development, customer briefings, and strategic planning activities.
• Represent Anduril’s ECC vehicle systems portfolio at industry events, demonstrations, and field exercises.
• Contribute to business performance tracking, forecasting, and strategic growth planning.
