Qualifications

• Five years of experience as Automotive Pre Owned Sales Manager in a high-end dealership is required.
• Experience with finance operations and bank programs; ability to build lender relationships.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Experience with high volume and high unit sales per month preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective inventory mix and pricing to market across stores.
• Manage budgets for volume and PVR.
• Train Used Car Managers on processes and procedures.
• Partner with Service to manage reconditioning of used vehicles.
• Drive business with high level daily operations involvement.
• Control/monitor expenses in the market's Used Vehicle Departments.
• Organize auction activities.
• Analyze business to identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Oversee wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing of used cars.
• Forecast goals for pre-owned sales, gross and expenses monthly and yearly.
• Hire, train and lead used car sales staff.
• Lenders: maintain strong relationships and closing capabilities.
• Adhere to federal/state/local regulations and resolve customer issues.
