Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Product Management to lead the DSCX portfolio, guiding a multi-disciplinary team of product managers and UX designers. You will shape the product operating model, define roadmaps, and establish outcome-driven governance across Federal and commercial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience, or Associate's with 13+ years, or High School Diploma with 15+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management and IT.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap standard used across all DSCX product areas.
• Define a two to three year roadmap with NorthStar vision for each product and area.
• Define prioritization framework (e.g., RICE) and ensure consistent application.
• Drive feature development one to two quarters ahead and story development one to two sprints ahead, in partnership with Software Engineering.
• Define KPIs, success metrics, and OKRs for each product.
• Run Daily Visual Management for the portfolio and own the KPIs in monthly reviews.
• Hold the team accountable for measurable outcomes, not just feature counts.
• Ensure PRDs and INVEST-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Use opportunity solution trees to link roadmap items to business outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering on design, sequencing, and delivery within enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
• Serve as the key product relationship manager for the D&S business with a maintained stakeholder map.
• Run recurring touchpoints including monthly business reviews per product line.
• Own funding and business case pipeline and drive issues to closure.
• Lead, coach, and develop the product management and UX team; own hiring and performance management.
