Job summary

Impact Public Schools seeks a Senior Director of Talent & Human Resources to lead recruiting, HR operations, and compliance across all school sites. The role reports to the CEO and supervises the Manager of Talent and HR, with regular travel among Seattle-area campuses.

You will drive the full recruitment lifecycle, policy development, onboarding excellence, and employee relations while partnering with IPS leadership on EVP and talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (HR, business, or related field).
• Minimum 10 years progressive HR management and leadership experience in education or non-profit.
• Ability to advise leadership and align HR with organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent recruitment processes for school sites and home office positions with diverse candidate pools.
• Oversee onboarding, faculty handbook updates, and HR policy compliance.
• Build leader capacity, train on HR processes, and manage HR operations including payroll and benefits.
• Facilitate investigations of complaints and implement continuous HR process improvements.
• Develop and execute diversity and talent recruitment strategies in partnership with leadership.
