Job summary

Tecan seeks a Senior Director, Supply Chain in Morgan Hill, CA to lead the end-to-end supply chain for CDMO/EMS operations, overseeing Purchasing, Planning, and Quoting/Estimating. You will ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and support competitive quotations while building scalable planning processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
• Experience leading Purchasing, Planning, and/or Quoting/Estimating teams.
• Strong experience in electronics component sourcing, supplier management, material pricing, and supply continuity.
• Demonstrated success supporting customer quotations, costed BOM analysis, and commercial proposals.
• Strong command of English.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QAD, Plex, Epicor, or similar.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience supporting NPI, product transfers, and supply-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain for CDMO/EMS operations.
• Manage Purchasing, Planning, and Quoting/Estimating teams to optimize service, cost, quality, and delivery.
• Improve supplier qualification, performance, and issue resolution.
• Lead S&OP/SIOP and ERP/MRP improvements to align demand with supply and finance.
• Drive cost improvements through PPV reduction and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and timely for new business.
