Job summary

CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy Engineering seeks a hands-on leader to join a high-energy team building modern software solutions. You will drive strategy, modernization, and delivery of scalable systems across geographies.

You will mentor engineering teams, shape roadmaps, and partner with Strategy, Operations, and Product to achieve business outcomes while advancing healthcare technology and patient care.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience with Agile methodologies.
7+ years building microservices with Python/Java (Spring Boot).
5+ years using containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
3+ years in cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
1+ years using AI frameworks and generative AI web services.
Experience hiring and leading distributed remote software teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy value streams.
Oversee design and development of Specialty Pharmacy products and tech assets.
Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, time to market, and quality.
Lead engineering teams across multiple geographies and platforms.
Manage people: hiring, performance, career growth, coaching, and goals.
Partner with Business, Product and Tech to support the delivery roadmap.
Research and innovate to shape a long-term strategy based on healthcare tech trends.
