Job summary
CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy Engineering seeks a hands-on leader to join a high-energy team and drive modernization across specialty pharmacy technology. The Lead Director, Software Development Engineering will build and execute multi-year roadmaps, oversee design, development, testing, and delivery of scalable solutions, and mentor engineering teams across geographies.
Partner with Strategy, Operations, and Product leaders to deliver high-impact technology that improves operational efficiency,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience with Agile.
- 7+ years building microservices (Python/Java Spring Boot).
- 3+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- 1+ year using AI frameworks and AI-based web services.
- Experience hiring and leading distributed multi-site teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy value streams.
- Design, develop, and deliver technology assets and products.
- Improve operational efficiency, time to market and product quality.
- Mentor engineering teams across geographies and disciplines.
- Partner with Business, Product and Technology leaders to enable the roadmap.
- Drive technology research and innovation aligning with healthcare trends.
