Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Lead Director, Software Development Engineering to drive a multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy. You will partner with Strategy, Operations, and Product leaders to deliver scalable software solutions and optimize value streams.

In this role, you will lead a distributed team, mentor engineers, and shape technology strategy to enhance business growth and customer outcomes across geographies. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience using Agile.
7+ years microservices development with Python and Java (Spring Boot).
5+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
3+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
1+ years AI frameworks and generative AI web services/tools.
Experience hiring and leading distributed multi-site/remote teams.

Responsibilities

Lead multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy value streams.
Design and develop Specialty pharmacy products and tech assets.
Assess engineering practices; drive continuous improvement and time-to-market.
Lead engineering teams across diverse platforms across geographies.
People management: hiring, performance, coaching, and career growth.
Build relationships with Business, Product and Technology partners to support the roadmap.
Conduct technology research to develop long-term strategy based on healthcare/tech trends.
