IonQ in College Park, MD is seeking a Senior Director, Revenue to own the global revenue lifecycle—from contracts to recognition—while partnering with Finance, Sales and Legal. Reporting to the VP, Global Controller, you will lead a revenue team through hardware builds and government contracting.

The ideal candidate has 13+ years in accounting/finance, ASC 606 expertise, and a strong track record scaling revenue in public tech or hardware firms. CPA is required; MBA a plus.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, incl. Director/Senior Director level owning revenue or technical accounting in a public tech/defense/hardware firm.
• Experience leading Managers/Senior Managers, with accountability for a growing revenue function.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, including multiple-element arrangements and long-term builds.
• Proven track record scaling a revenue function and integrating acquired companies.
• Ability to advise Sales, Legal, and Finance leadership and translate complex standards into guidance.
• Cost-to-cost modeling and project-level data analysis for revenue forecasting and recognition.
