Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in New York seeks a Director of Residential Program Services to provide strategic leadership, oversee staff, budgeting, and regulatory compliance across assigned residential programs.

You will ensure safety and quality of care, develop policies, prepare reports, and coordinate with external agencies. Bachelor's in Human Services and 7+ years of managerial experience required; NY driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field.
• At least seven years of progressively more responsible managerial experience.
• Valid New York State Driver's License is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all measures for safety and well-being are maintained at the highest level.
• Provides overall direction, guidance and supervision to staff at assigned residential program(s).
• Facilitates staff meetings with program staff on a regular basis.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, orients, trains, provide progressive discipline and when necessary, terminates insubordinate staff.
• Maintains records on insubordinate staff such as level of performance, specific deficiencies, performance improvement sessions, training records, etc.
• Oversee the budgeting and regulatory compliance for residential programs.
