Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Director, Head of Research and Early Development Project Management to build scalable, world-class execution across discovery and early assets. You will partner with CSOs, Strategy, and Finance to optimize development timelines and portfolio value.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project work to ensure continuity and rapid progression from discovery to first-in-human trials in oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases.

Qualifications

• Experience in early drug development (Discovery to IND/CTA to FIH).
• Proven ability to lead senior project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence CSOs and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization from discovery to FIH.
• Oversee early portfolio risk, governance, and budget adherence.
• Embed Orchestra Operating Model across early teams and drive collaboration.
• Engage with CSOs, Corporate Strategy, Governance on prioritization and decisions.
• Direct and develop a global team of Associate Directors and Directors.
