Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences & 12+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
• Track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering impact.
• Experience building high-performing teams and mobilising matrixed stakeholders around shared priorities.
• Proven delivery of multi-year strategic initiatives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Experience with external partnerships and alternative business models to support R&D effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Translate R&D priorities into clear priorities, outcomes and execution plans.
• Lead priority workstreams improving planning discipline, portfolio strategy and governance.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across R&D LT effectiveness and external partnerships.
• Contribute to and coordinate the ViiV R&D strategy and business plan.
• Define objectives, milestones, KPIs and scorecards to track progress and decision quality.
• Translate ideas into practical workplans with owners and dependencies.
• Identify risks and dependencies that affect delivery and alignment.
• Provide strategic thinking and industry knowledge to improve strategy and delivery.
• Create clear communications to portray the R&D strategy to stakeholders.
