Job summary

ViiV Healthcare, based in Durham, NC, seeks a qualified attorney to provide integrated legal support for R&D and Global Medical activities across the portfolio. You will draft and negotiate a range of agreements, review obligations, and advise internal clients on risk and regulatory considerations.

Based in a highly regulated environment, you will collaborate with IP, privacy, regulatory and compliance colleagues to deliver timely, practical legal guidance and ensure governance and risk controls

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer authorized to practice in the US.
• 3+ years of relevant private practice or in-house experience in life sciences, pharma, healthcare or regulatory contracting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and review a range of R&D and Global Medical agreements (clinical study, investigator-sponsored research, data-sharing, advisory, service and external engagement).
• Coordinate with Global IP, Privacy, Regulatory and Compliance teams to provide practical legal advice for R&D and medical activities.
• Identify and communicate legal and business risks in clinical development, data use and external collaborations, with mitigation and escalation where needed.
• Support governance and risk issues relating to clinical studies, real-world evidence, data use and scientific collaborations.
