Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Director, Project Controls to lead cost, schedule, and reporting for the EPC portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.

This executive role partners with Project Managers, Construction, Finance, and Legal to ensure disciplined controls and strong financial performance. You will build and manage a geographically distributed team, implement EVMS, and drive continuous improvement of controls tools and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree/MBA preferred
• Minimum 12 years of progressive project controls experience on EPC/construction projects
• Experience leading project controls across a portfolio of solar PV/BESS or similar projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and ERP platforms; strong EVMS knowledge

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise project controls framework for cost, schedule, and reporting
• Lead a dispersed project controls team with cost engineers, schedulers, and analysts
• Own cost control across the portfolio including EAC forecasting and variance analysis
• Oversee WBS design, cost reporting, and monthly cost reporting with finance
• Oversee schedule management with integrated Level 3/4 schedules using Primavera P6
• Manage change control processes and ensure proper documentation and budgeting
• Lead earned value management and progress measurement systems
