Job summary

Solar Energy Company is seeking a Senior Director of Project Management to lead the project management function for a growing solar EPC contractor delivering commercial solar projects with self-perform construction and GC/EPC work with subcontractors.

You will own customer-facing project delivery, project controls, schedule performance, financial tracking, risk management, and lead a team of project managers across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring margin protection and successful project

Qualifications

• Experience leading project management for large-scale construction or renewable energy projects.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to protect project margins through disciplined controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management function across assigned commercial solar EPC projects.
• Own customer-facing project delivery, including client communication, contract administration, schedule commitments, issue resolution, and executive updates.
• Ensure teams understand contract scope, exclusions, milestones, and closeout requirements.
• Lead kickoff, handoff, and alignment processes following Pre-Construction turnover.
• Establish execution plans with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Safety, and Accounting.
• Maintain executive visibility into risks, margins, schedules, and resource constraints.
• Ensure proactive management of scope, schedule, budget, documentation, and change events.
