Job summary

Heartflow seeks a Senior Director, Program Management to lead cross-functional teams and drive the strategy, execution, and delivery of complex, high-stakes initiatives. You own the end-to-end program lifecycle—from scope and planning through delivery—ensuring alignment with Heartflow's long-term vision.

You will define strategies, timelines, and resource plans, manage risk, and communicate status to stakeholders and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years of program/project management experience, including 5+ years leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs in a regulated industry (medical device or healthcare) preferred.
• Track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct multiple cross-functional program teams through the full lifecycle of complex initiatives, owning strategy, execution, and delivery.
• Define program strategy, timelines, and resource plans that meet business objectives, and drive teams to execute against them.
• Partner across functions to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, and decisions throughout each program.
• Build and implement risk management and contingency plans to keep programs on track.
• Communicate program status, priorities, and decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Serve as the face of your program(s) to the executive leadership team, representing progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Lead resolution of issues and conflicts within and across teams, escalating when appropriate.
• Coach and develop team members, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
