Munich Re Specialty - North America seeks a strategic Head of Professional Liability Claims to manage a multidisciplinary team across Commercial spaces, Public Entity, and Healthcare lines. You will guide best-practice claims handling, advise on high-exposure matters, and partner with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Operations to drive superior outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in claims and/or relevant legal experience.
• 3+ years in management with proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive claim-handling direction on investigation, reserving, and settlements.
• Oversee high-exposure, litigated, and complex claims with senior stakeholders.
• Coach team to meet development and career objectives.
• Present key claim issues and drive feedback to leadership across departments.
• Identify operational improvements and promote best practices.
• Build strong relationships with internal/external partners for market leadership.
