Job summary

Florida Blue Group seeks a Senior IT Director II, Operations Delivery & Reliability, to lead application platforms, DevOps, and ITSM governance across two towers. Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in platform engineering and ITSM/reliability within a complex organization.
• Prior experience managing director-level or senior-manager-level technical leaders.
• Hands-on depth in: application hosting, PaaS, APIs/batch, DevOps/CI-CD, observability, cloud-native platforms.
• Strong ITSM/ITIL foundation with ServiceNow ownership; ITIL 4 certification a plus.
• Experience leading Major Incident Management and post-incident reviews.
• Experience with IT asset/licensing management, technology lifecycle, and governance with security/audit partners.
• Familiarity with IAM operations and identity infrastructure interactions.
• Exposure to GenAI platform enablement and AI governance (AI TRiSM).
• Experience managing partnered/outsourced app support and run operations; SLA governance a plus.
• Ability to translate strategy into execution roadmaps; TBM/FinOps familiarity a plus.
• Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop director- and senior-manager-level leaders across two IT towers; set accountability and coach performance.
• Govern internal vs. partner sourcing, ensuring internal ownership while directing commodity run to delivery partners under SLA.
• Own tower KPI/scorecard for availability, MTTR, change success, major incidents, CMDB accuracy, license compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with Finance and Office of the CTO on TBM cost pools and unit economics; support showback to chargeback transition.
• Represent Operations Delivery & Reliability in governance bodies; prepare data-backed materials for leadership.
• Champion continuous improvement using ITIL 4 and Lean practices across both towers.
