Job summary

Breakthrough in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Platform and Technology Operations to own the infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence of the technology platform. This leader will oversee cloud operations (GCP), production environments, data platform infrastructure, and security/compliance programs, working with a lean team and guiding leadership across the group.

This role is on-site in Green Bay, WI, with the possibility of travel based on experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology operations, infrastructure, or cloud engineering with leadership experience
• Experience with enterprise compliance frameworks, especially SOC 2
• Background in SaaS or technology serving regulated/enterprise clients

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud infrastructure (GCP)
• Manage production and staging environments and ensure stability
• Oversee monitoring, observability, incident management, and capacity planning
• Own data platform infrastructure and AI/ML workloads support
• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps discipline
• Lead vendor relationships and contract negotiations for tooling
• Mentor and grow technical leaders across the team
• Ensure security, compliance, and data governance programs are mature
