Qualifications

• J.D. or L.L.B. and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 18+ years practicing as an attorney
• Expert knowledge of insurance regulatory law
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work with business partners, outside counsel, and adverse parties
• Commitment to high standards of legal and business ethics

Responsibilities

• Advise the Personal Auto business on legal matters across product operation including design, pricing, underwriting, forms, telematics, and state management
• Represent the company in complex matters requiring insurance product and regulatory expertise
• Lead and develop the team with capacity planning, performance management, and cross-functional coordination
• Improve knowledge sharing, documentation, and use of tools to scale legal support
