Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking a Director of Strategy & Alignment - Legal to drive enterprise-level prioritization and alignment across GL&C practice groups.

This role will embed with a practice group leadership table, governing investment, execution, and performance within a large in-house litigation organization. You will partner with leadership to translate strategic decisions into actionable PG plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal strategy, alignment, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
• Strong governance and operating rhythm design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic framework and PG-level goals with the leader and team.
• Establish operating rhythms and governance to enable One GL&C while preserving PG autonomy.
• Translate department decisions into PG-specific actions and monitor progress.
• Support 2030 roadmap execution and AI/work reimagination initiatives at the PG level.
• Align talent practices and investment posture with GL&C priorities.
